Christmas Day

Christmas day is here! Santa brought the kids what they asked for!

Maiya got a baby doll highchair and crib.

Evan got a Lightening McQueen big wheel.

Luke got a skateboard (and protective gear!)

Passing out the rest of the family gifts.

Luke got an ipod.

All of the kids playing with their new electronics. Ipod, Leappad, and Leaptop.

In other big news, Maiya got Dora undies in her stocking! Hoping for the best!

Christmas Eve

We use Christmas Eve as an chance to take pictures of the kids. They were very cooperative today and we got some good pictures.

Luke was in bed and realized he forgot to put the reindeer food in the front yard. Good thing he remembered. Rudolph gets hungry, too.

Evan is 4

Evan requested a cake with mnms on top for his birthday cake. He helped decorate it.

He got a few gifts from us.

A Clifford costume to replace the one he has that is about 2 sizes to small.

Bowling

Another advent event is bowling. Everyone had fun bowling this year and even Maiya got in on the action - thanks to the ramp!

The Story of Christmas

I was reading the book, "The Story of Christmas" to Maiya this afternoon and she "re told" the story in her own words.

Shhhh. Night, night. (Mary and Joseph were very tired after their trip)
Baby!!!! Mama! Dada!!!! Mooooo. Baaaaaa. (Jesus was born)

Evan's Birthday Party

Evan's birthday party was at our house and we had our local fire department bring a fire truck to the house to show the kids.
